The Ace Cup Challenge

Stud & Dud. Every shot counts.

Pair a low handicap with a high one in an alternate-shot team format. Both players contribute, every stroke counts, and there are no free rides.

The Ace Cup Stud and Dud: a polished player back-to-back with a casual one

Stud & Dud teams

Two-person alternate-shot with combined team handicaps. A low handicap pairs with a high one, so skill gaps are no longer a barrier to friends or family competing side by side.

Qualify, then advance

Win a local qualifier, move to regionals, then to a provincial championship weekend in Muskoka followed by a separate skills showcase to compete for prizes.

Plays for a cause

25% of net ticket and 25% of gross sponsor proceeds support food banks across Ontario, with more going to golf-industry foundations.

Three regions

2027 Ontario regions.

Southwest

Windsor to Niagara Falls, north to Guelph.

Central

Burlington to Cobourg, north to Barrie.

Eastern

Belleville to Ottawa Valley.
